the legendary founder of StIll:
franz leopold bismuth (+1949)  

gotthold ephraim lessing once said: "masonry has always been". we can be sure of the presence of a striving for wisdom, strength and beauty (the 3 columns) but it´s also sure that this honorable effort to built a four-dimensional temple with stones, spread over centuries, was too often decelerated by egocentrism, greed, struggle for power and vanity. the earliest real reformation movement inside masonry, the bavarian illuminates, who first appeared before the french revolution in the late 18th century, was wrecked by its immature and unloyal members and leaders. a last decadent flare-up of old glory and decent magick-socialistic ideas impersonated by edward alexander "aleister" crowley (1875 - 1947) was extinguished with the cold water of socialdarwinistic monopolycapitalism by the alarmingly effective "church of scientology", founded by ron l. hubbard, a former crowley-follower, which prepared the victory of global neoliberalism.

in the late 1960s a new movement appeared in styria, calling itself "styrian illuminati". founded during the last years of ww2 in the green forests of umbria/italy the small but effective and in power and influence increasing new reformation of masonry became a force, working in stealth-mode, attracting and recruiting the best and most interesting protagonists of the styrian city, graz. of course it is not possible to publish names, for most of the StIll - members were not yet recalled to higher work. it seems to be a hard fact that franz leopold bismuth (1886 - 1949), an amateur actor and technical draughtsman, must have been the first masterilluminate.

things began to change in 1998 when hans hölzl ("falco"), the then master of the lodge, left this reality-sphere in an anti-illuminates - caused carcrash. a controversy about leadership flared up and the community fell apart. this devastating incident gave power to a group of people in austria who previously were prevented from strengthening by StIll. reactionary, neophobe, anti-illuministic and counter-revolutionary masonic lodges went all out after society and policy.
during the labor-pains of the third century (christian era) the european community started to slide down the gutter of neoliberal madness. and when the same forces that were responsible for the death of hölzl were trying to achieve world domination by creating big pseudoterroristic publicity masterpieces (9-11) a small group of artists, journalists and scientists were united to rebirth StIll. the new directives for it were established in the course of the legendary and tumultuous foundation event on may 23rd 2002 in berlin.


II. STRUCTURE AND OBJECTIVES

it is not easy to explain the objectives of StIll; base of its work is of course the basic philosophy of freemasons: perfection. inside para-illuministic groups like the StIll the definition of perfection is usually interpreted in a broadminded sense. the biggest difference between traditional masonry and para-illuminates lies within the interpretation of secrecy; para-illuminates want to publish once secret informations and change esoteric wisdom into a open source database for mature freethinkers. the confession of indifference ("no good, no evil, no problem" (frater nox habet consilium)) and flexibility of moral and ethics involving desire for anarchistic utopia is an additional obstacle for approximation of masonry and para-illuminism (there are points of contact only between high levels of antimasonry (317 - 333) and inner levels of the A:.A:.). para-illuminates usually add "transparency" to the virtues strength, wisdom and beauty.
it is safe to assume that the StIll´s most followed objective is propagating absolute freedom of thought and selfresponsible freedom of acting. the responsible members of StIll are directing their attention to good contacts to artists, cultural organizations and scientists. the majority of StIll is recruited out of those circles.
